About Salsola Design
Salsola Design is a furniture and lifestyle brand founded in 2024 in the UK. Inspired by the adaptive intelligence of cultures across Eurasia, we create crafted objects that evolve with time—mirroring life’s quiet shifts. Our collections span across chairs, lighting, screens, and textile-based furniture, each designed to accompany moments of transition, reflection, and reinterpretation.

Why Salsola
The Salsola plant, renowned for its resilience and adaptability, embodies the essence of a nomadic lifestyle. As it disperses its seeds across vast landscapes, it reflects the journey of nomadic cultures, leaving a lasting imprint on their environment. This imagery of wandering and enduring beauty aligns seamlessly with our dedication to crafting furniture that unites cultures and embraces sustainability. Much like the Salsola plant weaves through the terrain, our designs seek to intertwine diverse traditions with contemporary aesthetics.

Why Eurasia
Our design philosophy is profoundly influenced by the intricate heritage of Eurasian nomadic culture—a tradition renowned for its exceptional cross-continental diversity and deep-rooted craftsmanship and spirituality.
Eurasian nomads have historically acted as cultural conduits between East and West, intertwining various traditions and viewpoints through their artistry and way of life. This unique role inspires us to draw on their aesthetic legacy as a harmonising force, crafting designs that celebrate and bridge different cultural narratives. By embracing the rich tapestry of nomadic artistry, we create furniture that reflects shared human values and highlights the splendour of diverse expressions. Our creations strive to nurture a sense of global cohesion, illustrating that, despite our varied traditions, the common threads of creativity and craftsmanship unite us all.

Core Values
In a world that often seeks to simplify and standardise, we believe in the importance of embracing the intricate, the diverse, and the authentic.
